A Go Figure Debut for a Californian Who is New!

Helen has 19 years of teaching experience in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. This year, she taught a 4th/5th grade combination class in a Title I school. She loves working with students and seeing the little “lightbulb” go off in their heads when they learn something new. Her classroom is a welcoming space where students feel safe in a structured and organized environment. She enjoys spending time with her 13-year-old son, watching Korean dramas, going to comedy clubs, and bowling.

Helen’s Teachers Pay Teachers store is called Raising Scholars. It contains 401 products (24 of them are free) and most of her products are related to upper elementary math. She also has a variety of classroom management/organization resources.

Her featured free item is called Positive Notes Home. This freebie has five positive notes from her Positive Notes Home Bundle that are easy-to-print positive communication notes for both parents and students. Each page prints on 8.5” x 11” paper and has four of the same notes per page. They are in black and white to save on ink, so just print them on colored paper and cut! The positive notes include the following:

  • One in a Melon
  • You are Llamazing
  • Merry Christmas
  • Anything is Popsicle
  • Be-Leaf in Yourself

Helen’s paid item is Flip Calendar Cards which sells for only $3.75. If you are tired of writing the date on the board every day, then this flip calendar is the solution! This resource allows you to display the date (day of the week, month, day, year) on the board with just a flip of a card. Just print, laminate, and cut! It comes in color, so you can print it on white paper, and in black and white or you can print it on colored paper and save ink!

What makes Helen’s store even more special is that you can build your own custom bundle of her resources to save money. All the details are here:
