My one granddaughter is in first grade, and all the first graders dressed up like "old" people, a grandma if you were a girl and a grandpa if you were a boy. Even the teachers donned appropriate outlandish attire. Here is what my granddaughter looked like.
These pictures plus a short paper about being a grandparent were hanging in the hall. One thing I loved about my granddaughter's is that she said I was 55 years old! Oh, how I love her perspective on my chronologically giftedness!!!
When I went to her first grade room, she began to interview me. She asked me several questions about my favorite color, favorite dessert, hobby, etc. I asked her teacher where she had gotten the materials to use for this special day. Guess what....from a Teachers Pay Teachers seller! She said she loved the resources as well as the prices at this site plus the convenience of downloading the material so she has it right away for her classroom.
I love promoting other blogs and stores that are top notch and will benefit teachers. I hope you will take a look at hers and maybe leave her a comment if you visit her blog. But more importantly, take the time to download her FREE mini unit for Grandparent's Day.
